There are two methods when it comes to laser resurfacing. One is ablative, and the other is non-ablative. These methods are great for getting rid of as well as reducing wrinkles, lines, and hyper pigmentation as well any other issues your skin may have due to being exposed to the sun as well as aging.
Ablative laser resurfacing is great for lighter skin issues as the laser only penetrates the outer part of the skin encouraging new skin growth for minor blemishes. Non-ablative laser resurfacing penetrates much deeper and is used for problems of the skin that are much bigger such as long term damage from the sun and deep scarring.
